Billboard chart topping dance queen, turned chart topping soul vocalist, producer and songwriter, Terri Green has been on
the soul music scene creating a buzz as front woman for her band The Terri Green Project with member Torsten Abrolat
since 2008. They took the band to the #1 Spot in the UK Soul Chart twice with their long play What a Feeling and the single
Night to Remember. Terri produced, performed and penned the #1 Indie Soul Chart single Sneaking Out with Toddi Reed
which featured guitarist Fontaine Burnett. In 2021, Lost inside your love with the iconic brass trio, N.W.O. also reached the
#1 spot in the US Indie Soul Charts, #2 in the UK Soul Charts as well as a place in the top 50 best songs chosen by the US
Indie Soul Charts and received a president’s award this year for their efforts and presence in the scene. Terri was nominated
for best female vocalist in the independent soul charts and best duo with NWO and her full band, The Terri Green. Project.
Her uniquely identifiable voice has drenched the clubs for decades with music but the time has come forTerri to show a more
personal side of her artistic skill set. She wanted to produce and write for another side of her soul, create a more personal
memoir to explore the life she has lived and the relationships that have and continue to shape her journey. Caught up was
the first track that she and programmer, musician Reggie Staggers, who happens to be brother of soul crooner, Marc
Staggers, began to pen in 2020. Working between Hamburg and Washington, DC, they managed to write material that
would invite her fans to see another side of her soul. Caught Up is a mixture of where she has been and what she has become
in discovering friendship, love and affairs of the heart. This story is not about one single relationship or one person but a
collage of all that she has experiences and continues to feel, which can only be told by her in the lyrics she creates. She and
Reggie, who has also worked in the r&b scene, understood each other so well and have created several songs which will be
featured on an upcoming Ep in late 2022. Under the hands of superstar mixer, producer Face, known for his production
work with Quincy Jones, Raheem Devaughn and others, the team set a path for a continued sizzling soulful path for Terri.
She wanted to still maintain a bit of then and now for her sound, evident by the guitar solo from superstar guitarist Mike
Scott (Prince, Justin Timberlake) and Thomas Stieger (Randy Brecker, Gregory Porter), on Bass and the magnificent horn
arrangement of Dr. Gilbert Pryor, performed by N.W.O horn section.
